It's not about you...

INTRODUCTION: It is not about you. It's not about your life. You are insignificant in the grand scheme of things. All is Christ alone. You must decrease as he increases (John 3:30).

Our lives are filled with temptations to make something great of ourselves for the benefit of ourselves and not the benefit of others. Jesus says that it is not about us, but about others,

"Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves; 4 do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others. 5 Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus..." Phil. 2:3-5 NASB
